The service

Synkriya provides online psychiatric consultations with Dr. Rohan Kosambiya and Dr. Ishanshi Sonera, held on Google Meet. By booking, you agree to these terms, our privacy notice and our cancellation & refund policy.

Not an emergency service

Consultations are scheduled appointments and are not suitable for emergencies. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 112, Tele-MANAS on 14416, or see our emergency help page.

Who can book

You must be 18 or older to book for yourself. A parent or legal guardian must book for anyone under 18. The details you give must be accurate and your own, and the mobile number must be one you can receive a verification code on.

Consent to online consultation

Consultations follow the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020. By booking, you consent to being seen by video. Your psychiatrist will decide whether an online consultation is appropriate for your situation, and may recommend an in-person assessment or local care instead. Some medicines cannot be prescribed online under the guidelines.

Bookings and payment

  • Fees are in Indian Rupees (INR) and shown before you pay.
  • Payments are processed securely by our payment provider. Your session is confirmed once payment succeeds.
  • A time you choose is reserved for a few minutes while you verify your number and pay. If the reservation lapses, the time is released.
  • Your booking confirmation and meeting details are sent to the email address you give.

Rescheduling and cancellations

  • If you need to change your session, you may reschedule up to 24 hours before it starts, through Manage my booking or by contacting us. Fees are not refunded if you cancel or do not attend.
  • If your psychiatrist is unavailable, we will contact you to reschedule at no extra cost. If none of the times we offer suit you, we will discuss a refund with you.

The details are in our cancellation & refund policy.

During your session

  • Join from a private place with a stable connection. Sessions end at the scheduled time, even if you join late.
  • No one may record a session, by audio or video, without the written consent of everyone taking part.
  • We may end a session if there is abusive behaviour, or if continuing online would not be clinically safe.

Patients outside India

We consult worldwide, but the service is provided from India under Indian law. You are responsible for checking that an online consultation with a doctor registered in India is permitted where you live. A prescription may need to be reviewed by a local doctor.

Limits of liability

We provide consultations with professional care and skill. We are not responsible for disruption caused by your internet connection, your device, or third-party services outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Complaints
